Celebrating International Women’s Day 2021

Happy International Women’s Day! Can’t believe we made it to IWD 2021 — and we’re still protesting the same policies as a century ago! This year’s theme is #.’ According to the website, “We are all parts of a whole. Our individual actions, conversations, behaviors and mindsets can have an impact on our larger society.

Celebrating Forging a Gender Equal World!

Today, we’re fighting for gender equality in the courthouse, in the media, in the workforce, in sports, in health, and in so much more. As the ONLY practicing reproductive health physician company founded and led by women in the birth control delivery space, Pandia Health is just one of the many feminist companies supporting women, particularly by simplifying access to reproductive health services.

Looking for a company that will deliver your birth control to your front doorstep for FREE? #SkiptheTrip to the pharmacy and sign up online for Pandia Health, the most trusted provider of birth control delivery!

What is International Women’s Day?

International Women’s Day is a worldwide celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women; the day also marks a call to action for promoting gender equity. Every March 8th, people from all walks of life come together to shout their feminist voices from the rooftops and celebrate unity, reflection, advocacy and action.

The color purple is typically used for symbolizing women as it signifies dignity and justice. Historically, the combination of purple, green and white to represent women’s equality came from the Women’s Social and Political Union in the UK in 1908. Green stands for hope while white indicates virtue.

One of the ways Pandia Health allows women to feel liberated and independent is by providing affordable and accessible resources for birth control. With free delivery (including contraceptives) and useful information on reproductive wellness, Pandia Health is truly an organization that empowers women. Plus, Pandia Health’s Birth Control Fund was created to provide financial assistance to women in need of access to birth control; through your generosity, Pandia Health brings telemedicine consultations and birth control to underserved women.

So, today, as on all other days, let’s support our fellow women

Pro tip: one way women’s lives are interrupted is not just by the discrimination they may face on a daily basis — it’s also due to painful periods! Thankfully, there is a solution called #PeriodsOptional that allows uterus-bearing folks to skip their periods by taking birth control!

Remember, just because today marks the 110th anniversary of IWD doesn’t mean that we only fight for gender equality today. This is a movement that is continuous across time, space, cultures, and geography. To get involved, post a photo on social media with your hands in an equal sign pose tagging #IWD2021 for a strong call-to-action for others to support #. You can also mention #PandiaHealth and include why you support reproductive rights for all! (Be sure to tag us, we love seeing your posts!)
